Common Name: Heart-leaf Bergenia or Elephants Ears
Description: Evergreen, herbaceous perennial with large glossy leaves that can be tinged with purple in winter. In spring bears clusters of bell shaped, deep pink flowers.
Size: Height up to 1m and spread 1m
Growing Conditions: Moist but well drained soil in full sun or partial shade
Uses: Groundcover, front of borders, banks and slopes
